Shadowmonsters are people able to turn into a MonsterForm and live in 7 worlds, each with a different culture but communicating with others.
Story
Originally Shadowmonsters people were called Sherlei
They were humanoid with some magical power and specific element to use

Sherlei People, even with some disagreements, were peaceful with each other.
After "The Great Disaster"
Just one Region, the one were "Manto" people lived in, the warriors of the world, harbored the desire to prevarication
Manto People using black magic in secret, trying to create something so powerful that it could subdue the other people of the Sherlei world.
But their magic had some unforeseen and went out of their control, exploding and dividing their world into 6 floating islands connected together by some magical portals.
This was not the only problem caused by the explosion of black magic , in all 6 worlds , black magic invested all people and corrupted them with a curse of evil power.
From that moment every person of the 6 worlds is surrounded by a dark shadow, impossible to remove.

The consequence of this corruption enabled them to transform their bodies into a sort of Monster.
The people had also acquired some more powers due to this corruption.
Sherlei became Shadowmonsters from that day, forever corrupted by the shadow and forced to live with the Monster inside them.
After That disaster the connection with the Life and Death messed up and the end of a Shadowmonster life does not end for real.
They just reborn and are led to another place, a seventh world, a sort of Halo around their World, where all the old spirits live when they are tired of life on earth.
But since it was covered by the halo of the Arialuna world, no one had noticed that even higher, much higher than the sky,
Another halo was connected to the Arialuna world, on an even higher plane, in the infinity of universe, you can see the world of Arianotte.
Leaders
Without a real explanation, after the Great Disaster the panic spread around the people.
They suddenly become Monsters from one day to another.
Many of them ran over The Oblivion in panic, to other worlds, started to attack each other.
There was a need to have some leaders.
Then you can find one Leader for each Factions and Clan
About Clan
After that disaster some people learn that the key was an alliance with other Factions.
People started to travel through different worlds and Melting their culture.
For now we Know just 7 Clans, but some other cultures can appear in the future!
About Gang
In the Gang, unlike the Clans, people keep their culture and their features, deciding just to follow a Guide and live under a banner for a common cause.
A gang can also be born with only 2 members. They melt their souls and change their appearance for life.

Shadowmonsters can reproduce between different factions and clan without problems before and after "The Great Disaster"
Sometimes the Child have the the features of one or another parent, or also both
The only anomaly happens when Manto and Alerie have a child and give birth to a Spectrum.
But there is another random little chance a Child can be a "foggy child" as affectionately people call the Hybrid.
Foggy Child have always a sort of strange haze around, this happened also before "The Great Disaster"
But now, After the Disaster, Foggy Shadowmonster find it really hard to transform themselves in Monster.
Anyway they are so rare that it's hard to find someone that really met the Foggy ones in life.

After the Great Disaster they thought that having a Monster form was...funny!

The connection with animals, life and food is the distinctive feature of this faction.

They tried to remove the weakness and their monster with all their power.
A lot of Alerie lost their lives to reach this intent...in the end they accept their monster part and learn to resist to suffering using the white magic.

The Endless Obscurity escaped from their control and corrupted the entire world, from that "The Great Disaster" that destroyed the world.
Unlike the rest of the Sherlei people, Manto could not ask better from this disaster.
They obtain the powerful effect since they are being hit by the Shadow more than others, but also their mind, if possible, iscorrupted more than before.

The Immondo Clan it's not a real Clan, it's a consequence of a tragedy.

Once the Great Disaster happens their underground city is covered by the shadow and all Manto living here suffocate.

After years the Immondo soul totally merged with the shadow and they went up from the underground city stronger than before.

Arialuna World is a sort of "beyond world" they live in the place where all Shadowmonster go once their life is finished.
Whatever their belonging, any faction and any clan, when their life finishes, if they want they are reborn as Arialuna.
Ancient Arialuna told their story to their entire population.
They know the first Arialuna was a Spectrum, Sefarvaim, who died after a war with their Brother Amon.
After Sefarvaim died, Their souls started floating around the Sherlei world, around and around with no purpose...
They caught time after time little stones and, after their soul floating for a time so long to seem an eternity, they noticed that all these little stones are nothing but other lost souls.

The Spectrum desire is to help lost souls and Sefarvaim decided to help them too.
Traveling in circles for ages, Sefarvaim created a sort of Halo above the Sherlei world, inside the clouds.
Sefarvaim reborn and their monster broken in thousand tears, created a material like gold and stones, called "The stone of Sky"
With this stone the Sefarvaim Manta create a guardian.
Sefarvaim began to welcome all lost souls in search of another kind of life and call them "Arialuna"
When Arialuna is born, their monster form becomes a guardian too, with an indestructible "Stone of sky" material.
Arialuna is really pacific and instead of shadow, they have clouds to connect with their guardian.

∞ Story :
We know that Unions through different Factions don't cause problems and usually the child takes the features of one or another patent, or also both.
There are just two factions, because of their nature, that rarely have a relationship : Alerie and Manto.
It's really rare that the people of Manto and the people of Alerie have children, but sometimes it can happen and their children are the most rare people of Sherlei world.
People of Sherlei call them "Spectrum".

When a spectrum is born, their first teardrop shines and floats as if the tear were alive.
From that teardrop born a Manta, the Eyes of the Spectrum, their voice and their soul.
That Manta will fly always at the Spectrum side, talking in the other's mind as if there is the Spectrum voice talking.
When they are really young, Spectrums are fragile, almost transparent and so light that their steps are invisible.
All Spectrums are blind and to protect their eyes they wear bandages.
Because of the bad Manto attitude, usually there are Alerie that raise their children and usually Alerie are the mothers.
But also in the Spectrum rarity there is another rarity, sometimes the mother can be the Manto and can choose to raise the Spectrum in their world.

∞ They are the only ones who don't turn into monsters but have something like a white ghost-monster that always follows them.
∞ Even if they can't see with their eyes , they are connected with their guardian so they can see much more than the normal people.

Stories about Whispering are just rumors because Sherlei people call "Whispering" the one who seems to whisper in the Oblivion.
Rumors say that sometimes you can hear someone talking in the Oblivion, the place where Shadowmonsters can pass only in Monster Form.
In Oblivion everything is confused, distorted, not in the right place or in the right size.
Monsters can find the way home just because to their instinct and thanks to the smell of other people, but in Oblivion consciousness is lost.
But some Shadowmonsters are sure to have seen someone in the Oblivion.
Someone Alive, in human form.
They are not sure because in the Oblivion everything is confusing but a lot of people remember the people in fear when "The Great Disaster" started, running in the Oblivion and never returning.
Someone said even now, someone runs in the Oblivion without returning, especially the Foggy ones.
Foggy Shadowmonsters are as people call the "Hybrid", a rare anomaly that happens when two different Factions make an union.
Foggy Shadowmonsters are so rare that by now there are not a lot of Shadowmonsters sure to have ever met one of them.
These Rumors about the Whispering talking also about a door, a Big Door with something big inside.
We know a big part of Shadowmonsters intending to leave in the Oblivion to find more about Whispering, but for now we know just rumors.

I think about start a new project for so long
Initially We want start in March but with all things happened we finish in late some things ;;
We desired start something cute, with hope and gentleness, for spring ** <3
I want think really better to the showcase and start something new, little, for the community ;u;
This is a bad period for the entire world, we are all equal and I think art can bring a little hope

I was super super busy with the advent calendar in December and these days I was feel not really well ;_;
Plus I was busy with the last Birthday I have to organize xD!
Marie Birthday incoming and I wrote this journal day by day \T//7/T/
I also really need a pause and some rest so I take a chance with the holidays to extend my pause \;u;/ <3

I'm in late but I decided too many things with Marie this time x°D
This time we decided for something different, we have some designs in mind that are not only for "Halloween" but they are with darkness, night, bad emotions, something scaring in general
So instead "halloween Project" We think about something related to the night, to the darkness in general!
